Once you have requested account(s) on ACStore and you have received a confirmation that your shares have been created you can immediately begin using these shares.
Both personal and group shares can be accessed from your personal computer on campus as you would any storage device. Under the “How to Access” menu you will find sections detailing how to access the shares from both Windows and Mac computers. The information provided in the Mac section, which uses an SMB connection, contains all of the information that you should need to access ACStore from a “Unix” computer, however due to the wide variety of operating systems and interfaces we cannot provide specific instructions for these systems.
From off-campus locations the shares can be accessed using an SFTP client. In the “From off Campus” menu above we provide some general information that you will need to access the share with an SFTP client, as well as some recommendations for SFTP client that you may want to use, if you don’t already have one installed on your computer.
